PRE-REQUISITE:  You MUST have completed MOST of the Freshman Year in order to take this class. 

This will be a 10-month class.  The first 6 classes will be dedicated to learning a few more techniques with rulers from the Freshman Year plus a few new rulers that you may or may not have already purchased.  Anything on the list that is in red is something you “should” have purchased while taking the Freshman year.  Look through your stash thoroughly as some of the Tech Sheets are ones that you may have purchased during the Freshman year in addition to the required Tech Sheets.  The Design Sheets are exclusive to Tucker University, so you shouldn’t have those. 

The last 4 classes are dedicated to the School of Design.  This portion will cover the entire process from quilt design through the construction and finishing stage.  In the first class we will start planning our quilt.  You will pick your layout and create your own unique design.  Then we will work on figuring the fabric amounts needed for your specific design.  In the second and third class you will work on constructing your blocks.  You will not be able to complete everything in class.  You will have to do a lot of the work at home!  This is very important.  The goal is to walk away with a finished (or almost finished) top.  In the last class we will talk about Sashing/Borders/Binding and show off your creations!
